missions

making disciples of all nations

Through the SFA missions program we seek to fulfill Jesus’ mandate to, “….go and make disciples of all nations….” (Matthew 28:19)

Every third Sunday of the month is our Missions Sunday. On that day we host guest missionaries who update the congregation on their work and what God is doing around the world, pray for our missionaries, and give towards the support of missionaries all around the world. Once per year we host a Missions Convention — a whole week of guest missionaries and special missions events. And periodically, we travel overseas to partner with missionaries and local churches in their work through tangible help and acts of service. It is our hope that everyone who attends SFA will help us support the work of our missionaries through their prayers, giving, and even going!

community outreach

blessing our local community

As a church we seek ways to connect with and bless our local community. We do so through various church events (e.g. Spring Festival/Easter Egg Hunt), participating in community events (e.g. Eatontown Day), and our food pantry, “Operation Blessing.” We as well support local ministries such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Monmouth County and Solutions Pregnancy Center (Shrewsbury)

Our hope is that SFA will not be just another church on the block, but a means of helping people in our community sense God’s love for them.
